After ten rich and successful seasons, it is with sadness and regret that InterAct announces the discontinuation of our award-winning Writing Aloud program. We will miss the contact with the Philadelphia area fiction-writing community and the opportunity to hear so many wonderful stories brought to life by some of our favorite local actors.
We would like to extend special thanks to Writing Aloud founder David Sanders for creating the program and shepherding it for its first seven seasons.
Thanks also to all the writers and actors who made the last ten years of Writing Aloud so memorable.
Anyone who feels strongly about new writing and has an interest in carrying the torch and taking over the administration of the Writing Aloud program should contact Literary Director Rebecca Wright.
